As with many clubs, the pandemic has brought our events to a standstill in an overwhelming way. With the conditions of the contact restriction it was no longer allowed to travel! So we were no longer allowed to meet with our friends from Laakdal. The annual school contact of the primary school students also had to be canceled. A trip with the citizens of Tönisvorst was originally planned. But there was still a travel ban and we couldn't drive.

So this year we only talked to our friends over the phone and in writing.

As in the rest of the world, the pandemic kept Belgium in check. In the middle of the summer holidays, there was a curfew in the Antwerp district, including in Laakdal. Our friends have also been reported to have suffered from Covid.

We all hope that the pandemic will end soon and give everyone on the way to protect themselves as much as possible in order to stay healthy.
